Fares

* Children from age 3 up to 14 (until the day prior to the their 15th birthday)
 
Free travel for children under the age of 3.

There is no price reduction for pensioners and no other travel discounts apply.

Dogs and pets require full price tickets and must be carried in a dog/pet carrier box.

GROUP CHILDREN DISCOUNT ON THE ZUGLIGET CHAIRLIFT:

Student groups of at least 10 people and their adult companions can use the Buda Castle Funicular with a children"s ticket!

The discount can be valid:

• from 3 to 14 years old (from the age of 3 to the day before the age of 15)

The valley-station of the Chairlift is located in Zugliget, which can be reached by bus No. 291. The terminus of bus 291 is exactly in Zugliget, in front of the valley-station of the Chairlift.
Bus No. 291 departs from Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station).

The mountain-station is located on the roof of Hármaskút on the way of Normafa and János-hill. Buses No. 21 and 21A from Széll Kálmán tér run to Normafa, where from the Chairlift is a 20 -30 minutes’ pleasant walk in the forest. Alternatively you can arrive to Normafa by the Children Railway, its János-hegy or Virágvölgy stations are the closest to the upper station of the Chairlift.

 
Request for an invoice

If you need an invoice, please keep your ticket, otherwise we will not be able to issue the invoice.
Within 8 days after the purchase of the ticket you can require the invoice in the following 2 ways:
 

• by mail (paper based request) attaching the tickets. Postal address: BKV Zrt, Turisztikai divízió, 1980 Budapest, Akácfa u. 15.

• by e-mail attaching the copy of the tickets electronically. E-mail address: kulonjarat@bkv.hu

Please, supply your name and address you wish the invoice to be issued for.

The issued invoice we will send you to the mailing address  you requested.
