Strangers can also enter - the restricted zone at Deák tér M2 station has been turned into an exhibition space

The Metro Exhibition Space opened at the Deák tér M2 station welcomes visitors from 23 March 2024. A special exhibition space created in the previously secluded area, in the former dispatch center – in operation between 1970 and 2003 –, preserves the relics of the Budapest metro. The exhibition space can be visited periodically and in groups, after registration, and can be approached from the platform of the Deák Ferenc tér station of metro line M2.

Please note that the Metro Exhibition Space is not accessible with strollers and wheelchairs. Viewing the exhibition is recommended for ages 14 and over. BKV Zrt. reserves the right to change the programme.
