BKV, Szeged Transport Company and the Mobilissimus mobility planning workshop organized an international conference on the future and sustainable operation of trolleybus transport, which is 90 years old this year, between 7 and 9 September 2023. During the three-day event, renowned public transport experts from Hungary and abroad held lectures and workshops in Budapest and Szeged.

BKV's conference organizing partners are part of the international green project CE4CE, the aim of which is to introduce the principle of circular economy in public transport, which results in less waste, improved efficiency, and a reduction in the sector's ecological footprint.
