In 2014, Budapest's fourth metro line with a length of 7,3 km was inaugurated to passenger traffic and the metro line M4 has been operating reliably for 10 years to the satisfaction of passengers. Metro line 4, which uses state-of-the-art technologies, quickly became an integral part of everyday traffic in the capital city, and with its innovative architectural solutions, it came into focus of the architectural profession and those interested in urban architecture. The M4 is Central Europe's first deep-laid underground railway line with autonomous driving system.
