On 20 April, the Száva depot will open its doors so that anyone can gain insight into the busy life of the site after 10 years again. Vehicles deployed in regular passenger traffic and heritage vehicles, guided hall visits as well as industry curiosities await people of all ages at the all-day, free event. This programme launches BKV's open day series of 2024.

Prior registration is required for the guided tours and the simulator presentation; the registration links will be available on BKV’s website in the days before the programme.

A Playbus with double articulation and Muki, the freight locomotive attract the little ones. Participants of the open day can even travel by the latter within the premises.
Collectors will also have the opportunity to buy BKV relics and souvenirs.
