Opening hours
The Buda Castle Funicular does not operate between 09.15-09:45 a.m, and 12:45-1:00 p.m. on the 19th of April, 2024.
Opening hours: 08:00 -22:00
Tickets are sold until 21:50
It runs continuously in every 5-10 minutes according to the passenger demand.
The Funicular is closed on every Monday on odd weeks during the period of the maintenance works, unless these Mondays are on public holidays. In this case, maintenance work will be performed on the first working day after the bank holiday.
