Dear Customers, 

After the test runs following the special maintenance of the Zugliget Chairlift the service will restart expectedly at 10:00 on Saturday, 27th April. Please, consult our website for current information. 

Validity of the tickets (both for single or two-trip tickets) which expire until the reopening will be extended till 31st December 2024, or the justified 50 or 100 % of the price will be refunded by bank transfer.
If you wish the refund, you have the following possibilities: 
-  send your ticket back by post to the following address: BKV Zrt. Tourist Services, 15 Akácfa u. Budapest, 1980
-  submit your ticket personally at BKV Zrt. Head Office, at the same address, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m. 
-  you can send us the photo of the destroyed ticket (diagonally cut in half) to  libegoszamla@bkv.hu. 

Please, send us your name and bank account number for the bank transfer. 

The validity of tickets bought after 23rd April 2024 and have not been used will be extended till 31st December 2024.

Tickets:

The ticket entitles you for two trips in any direction. If you use it for one trip only, you can use it for another trip within one year after purchase.  

*   From the 3rd year of age till the day before the 15th birthday. A child under 10 may travel only if accompanied by an adult.  

** From the 15th year of age till the day before the 26th birthday.

Children up to 3 can use the Zugliget Chairlift free of charge.

When using it with Student ticket, a valid Student card has to be presented to the platform guide who controls the tickets.

No pensioner’s or other travel discounts are valid on the Zugliget Chairlift.

Dogs (and pets) can be transported only in closed pet carriers by purchasing full price tickets (see Terms and Conditions).

Discount price for adults accompanying groups of children:

1.

Groups of at least 10 children (aged 3-14) and the accompanying adults may use the Chairlift service by purchasing child (3-14) two-trip tickets.

Further conditions:

·       the accompanying adult can travel with Child (3-14) two-trip ticket if the children are under 15, and the platform guide or the buffet cashier gives an approval code to purchase the group ticket.

• only in case of a group of minimum 10 children (see the above table);
• age of the children is between 3 and one day before the 15th birthday;
• the discount cannot be given on events of Night Services of the Zugliget Chairlift
• The student cards have to be shown for control to the platform guide.

The valley-station of the Chairlift is located in Zugliget, which can be reached by bus No. 291. The terminus of bus 291 is exactly in Zugliget, in front of the valley-station of the Chairlift.
Bus No. 291 departs from Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station).

The mountain-station is located on the roof of Hármaskút on the way of Normafa and János-hill. Buses No. 21 and 21A from Széll Kálmán tér run to Normafa, where from the Chairlift is a 20 -30 minutes’ pleasant walk in the forest. Alternatively you can arrive to Normafa by the Children Railway, its János-hegy or Virágvölgy stations are the closest to the upper station of the Chairlift.

 
Request for an invoice

If you need an invoice, please keep your ticket, otherwise we will not be able to issue the invoice.

Within 8 days after the purchase of the ticket you can require the invoice in the following 2 ways:

·       by mail (paper based request) attaching the tickets. Postal address: BKV Zrt, Turisztikai divízió, 1980 Budapest, Akácfa u. 15.

·       by e-mail attaching the copy of the tickets electronically. E-mail address: libegoszamla@bkv.hu

Please, supply your name and address you wish the invoice to be issued for.

The issued invoice we will send you to the mailing address  you requested.
